Another airline has joined the fleet at Savannah/Hilton Head International. Sun Country Airlines announced yesterday that it would begin flying to Savannah/Hilton Head International from Minneapolis/St. Paul as part of a seasonal service. The scheduled route begins on August 27, 2015, and will offer departing flights from Minneapolis/St. Paul on Thursdays that arrive in Savannah at 7:45 p.m. and flights departing from Savannah on Sundays at 12:00 noon, arriving at Minneapolis/St. Paul at 1:52 p.m. The service is scheduled to operate through December 13, 2015.
This new addition comes just a month after the announcement of Allegiant Air’s return to SAV with flights routing to and from Columbus, Cincinnati and Akron/Canton, Ohio and a year after Jet Blue joined the airport with a handful of new destinations. Savannah/Hilton Head International just keeps growing, and we couldn’t be more excited! Not only do these new additions open doors for Savannahians to travel, but it also opens the door to our beautiful city to tourists around the country. Welcome to the Hostess City, and welcome to #flySAV!
