RobMark Web • Advertising • Public Relations is a regional, full-service advertising, marketing, public relations and website development firm based in Savannah, GA. We are looking for a Freelance WordPress Web Developer to assist with overflow website projects. Primary experience in PHP and in developing WordPress websites built to W3C-standards is required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Experience: 5+ years experience in professional web or application development.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS

• Demonstrated technical leadership in the practice of HTML/CSS/SCSS and PHP, MySQL databases, on Linux-based servers
• WordPress development with an understanding of the codebase, hooks, actions, filters, etc.
• Experience with Advance Custom Fields is required
• Experience creating custom blocks using ACF is a plus
• Experience with Kadence Blocks and the Gutenberg Block Editor is a plus
• Experience with LocalWP, Prepros and compiling SASS in a local development environment is a plus
• Experience creating custom, single-use plugins is a plus
• Familiar with the use of SVGs
• General familiarity with the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically XD and Photoshop
• General familiarity with best practices for content migration and search engine optimization
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Successful use of project planning methodologies to deliver high quality launches that are on-time and on-budget
• Must be organized and have an attention to detail
